'Second year staying here. New owners definitely have a few kinks to work out. We were celebrating my 30th birthday. First off this is a second floor property and the elevator was inaccessible when we got there. We called the owner and she said she would have someone out within 45 minutes for us to use the elevator. No one ever showed up so we had to haul all our luggage, coolers, etc up the stairs. The next day we needed more bath towels and our AC didn’t seem to be working. We called the owner...

'This was our second time staying here. This place is within walking distance to all the restaurants and bars. The unit we got this time, the hot water tank went out completely and we were staying there another night - there were 10 of us staying there. The owner was extremely accommodating and allowed us to stay in the unit next to us for our last night AND allow us keep our place that didn’t have hot water. Hands down - excellent customer service!! We will be staying there again. '

'I stayed at Birds Nest Resort on June 16-18. What a great place! Very quaint and very quiet. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. Angie was very nice and made you feel welcome. I will definitely stay here again.'

'We were told on the phone we would be in house 5 but were put in 106. While the house was clean, it was very outdated. It smelled musty and it was uncomfortable to see a mousetrap in the kitchen. It had broken window blinds and screen (windows had no curtains so light came in through broken slats). It was disappointing to drive through the complex (which was very nice) and realize we were given a lower quality unit. '
