'This lovely flat is an easy walk from the train station and grocery store and even walkable from Old Quebec so we found it a perfect home base for our adventures. I walked to the train station alone with my kids before 6 a.m. and we felt safe in the neighborhood. It felt like staying in a cleaner version of a friend’s apartment, homey and bright, comfortable beds and accommodations.'

'The location was perfect, we were able to walk everywhere. The house was walking distance to Old Quebec, Quarter Montcalm, and museums. The house is a lovely turn of the twentieth century home with everything you could need. The host provided a fantastic book with all the sites you could see, restaurant recommendations and grocery stores “Marche”. This is a great place to stay for a family.'

'The place has a country side cottage feel. We stayed for 6 nights and explored Quebec and the coast and old highway. The location was perfect! The neighbors were charming and friendly. We even got to try the restaurant below. The place was perfect for us traveling with our daughter and cat. It was fully equipped and felt like home! The view of the church was charming! The people were amazing - generous, friendly and proud of Quebec! 😃'

'The circa 1810 building is right in the heart of old Quebec City, close to the Notre-Dame Basilica-Cathedral, the city hall, the Frontenac, many nice restaurants etc. The location cannot be beat if you want to see old Quebec City. The apartment is at the top of a flight of stairs. It was spotlessly clean when we were there. There was plenty of room for us, and it had everything we needed. The host was very responsive. There was free parking in an underground garage about 3 minutes away on foot....

'As noted by other reviewers, it's located super close to almost everything. Loved the Plains and Cap Blanc Stairs. Restaurants are steps away. Did not need to a car unless you're going outside the City (e.g., the Montmorency Fall). Parking is on site. Well maintained property. Wished that the windows are openable. Maybe that's not an option in QC. Haha.'

'The apartment was quite large and well laid out. Our large group fit very comfortably and the kitchen/dining/living common area was a great place to hang out. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go including old quebec and the grocery store. Karl was very responsive. The stairs to get in are steep.'

'I was really pleasantly surprised by how quiet and large this location is! I wish we'd stayed there for more than the one day, it was exceptional and very easy to check in and find. So convenient for the morning train, as well! The only thing I didn't like was the couch, it was pretty stiff. '

"Prima hotel, alleen jammer dat er geen mogelijkheid is om te ontbijten. Gelukkig ligt het hotel in een omgeving met veel restaurants. Voor het ontbijt hebben we gegeten bij Tim Hortons. Voor het avondeten hebben we 2 restaurants getest: een Italiaans “Tuscanos” en een steakhouse “le Rascal”. Allebei geweldig. Verder over het hotel: het bed was comfortabel, de badkamer was oke, fijne douche. "

"Fijne ruime, schone kamer. Prima bedden. Ook het extra bed is super comfortabel. Heel leuk zwembad, lijkt op de foto's van Hotels.com wel groter dan het is. Wel echt heel leuk en mooi aangelegd. In de directe omgeving veel eetgelegenheden en shopmogelijkheden. Met de autp waten we snel in de oude stad. "
