'Property was recently renovated very clean. Nice up-to-date. It was a very chilly weekend, so really just chilled inside, our son and daughter in law braved the chilly weather and tried to fish off boat house, but no luck. We truly enjoyed the view. Definitely plan on going back late spring early summer. Would love to take grandchildren there.'

'My husband and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary here! It was peaceful and relaxing. The house was decorated very nicely and they had everything we could have needed stocked. Watching the sunrise each morning will be a memory we have for the rest of our lives. We also enjoyed splashing around on the paddleboards and just chilling on the multiple decks! Love this place and would love to bring grandkids when they get a little older.'

'This place definitely deserves a five-star rating across the board. The location is absolutely perfect, and the deck adds a nice touch to the overall experience. Our kids were mesmerized by the boats passing by, and we had an incredible time as a family. Despite the rain during our trip, we still managed to relax and enjoy quality time together. 'This was a must for us as an older couple to get away and just reconnect, and this was the perfect place. Everything was spotless and the scenery was gorgeous. The hot tub was so relaxing and with it being recessed into the deck, it was more accommodating for my handicapped husband. We laughed about everything being fit for a giant, and all the TCU decors. I think someone in the family must be very tall and played sports at TCU! I even said Geaux Tigers a time or two, (and I am from Texas!) ...

'Stunning, spacious property in a great location. We were in town for a reunion and the house was perfect. Very nicely updated and way more room than expected. Close enough to downtown to walk or make the short drive. Host was clear with communication and check-in and check0out were a breeze. Highly highly recommend this property for any stay in Natchitoches, especially if you have a decent size group.'

'The space was amazing—clean, quiet and peaceful. Tucked away from the main road, but not too far. A few miles from Natchitoches, but not a straight shot. Definitely would make a day trip there as opposed to a night trip. Great communication from host! If you want to “unplug” and enjoy peace and quiet, this is the place.'

'Really enjoyed this place! Had a plumbing issue and the owner has someone out immediately and had the problem repaired before we got back from our fishing trip!! Plenty of comfortable beds and lots of seating in the common areas. Great view from the kitchen and living room! Would certainly rent it again!'

'Cast Away Camp was perfect for us this weekend! It is very clean and we loved the location. It is nestled in a little cove so it’s nice and quiet. It did list as having WiFi. The property does not have WiFi but that was fine. It definitely did not mess up our weekend!'
