'We loved our stay. It was very beautiful and peaceful. The staff brought us a delicious breakfast each morning for a small charge. 'Our stay at Eden was the most enjoyable we’ve had in all of Guatemala. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. 'We found out last minute that Expedia had overbooked the property so we were left without accommodations for multiple hours on each day. Luxury Atitlan did its ultimate best to accommodate our stay. 'We arrived just after 10pm, when the garage closed only moments before. The staff was still present and re-opened it for us. We used the covered gated parking area. The hotel is centrally located for Mazatenango proper. How water, fresh towels, soaps, and a complementary bottle of water were waiting for us. The area is safe and secure. There is a nice wall unit a/c which cranked out some super cold air. Next time I am in the area, I plan to stay at this hotel!'

'It is set out as a Luxury apartment but can't really qualify as such. It is nice, but quite noisy as it is right next to a restaurant with live music. Also quite smelly from all the restaurants' grey water just flowing into the lake outside the windows. The bathroom is also very damp with mold on the walls. Everything else was good though, and the hosts were very responsive.'
