First, the oven was dirty, causing the smoke alarm to go off repeatedly during use as soon as it approached set temperature. 'It was a pleasure to stay here, thanks Swami! The furnishings are quite sparse but all nicely comfortable and functional, with very good facilities all around in the bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen. It is relaxingly quiet and private, and in a pleasant area. Great location for a visiting academic (as I am), with an easy walk to the university campus, lots of restaurants of all kinds nearby, and BART station. I’d be very happy to stay again on future visits!'

"Uitstekend hotel. Locatie is zeer centraal. Met als traktatie de kabeltram voor de deur. Kamer was klein maar functioneel en ook schoon. Leuke bekomstigheid in de lobby was gratis thee, koffie, water, koekjes, appels en ‘s avonds zelfs popcorn. Zelf 1 dag de auto geparkeerd. Dit ging via het hotel en was op loopafstand (valet-parking). Hotel is zeker een aanrader. "
