Liefdevol ontworpen en gebouwd, met een piek plafonds, gas open haard, stralingswarmte vloeren en houten ramen. Prive patio. Slaapkamer # 1 met een queen size bed. Slaapkamer # 2 / den heeft een bank die wordt omgezet in full-size bed. Dag bed in de woonkamer heeft een dubbele matras. Full size apparaten, volledig uitgeruste keuken. Wasmachine en droger in de cottage.

Op loopafstand van College Avenue winkels en restaurants, UC Berkeley en BART. Parkeerplaats beschikbaar, maar veel mensen komen zonder auto. Buurt Elmwood heeft een bibliotheek, bank, bioscoop, 2 boekhandels en vele goede restaurants en winkels. Geweldige locatie voor een bezoek aan Berkeley, of als uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van San Francisco en het noorden van Californië.

wonderful stay at adorable cottage in terrific neighborhood

My two teenagers and I enjoyed our stay in the beautiful cottage in Berkeley. We appreciated the well-appointed home, with all the amenities we needed - washer dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, etc. The host even provided cloth bags for our grocery shopping! We would happily stay there again - it's a real gem

Fabulous location!

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed in this charming cottage! Patty, the owner, has provided everything to make your stay comfortable. We also love the location of the cottage which is in walking distance to Downtown Elmwood’s wonderful shops and restaurants. We will be back soon!

It was comfortable & cute, but yard, small that we knew, wasn't quite what we expected for sitting out there if wanted to. Not kept up. We pretty much stayed there for location for graduation & area. Great for walking & restaurants/coffee shops.

Cottage delight

This Berkeley Cottage is located in a quiet neighbourhood with a nice shopping area nearby. It was the perfect place for us to recoup and enjoy some downtime while exploring the East Bay. We appreciated Patty’s hospitality and the parking space she made available to us.

Great location, wonderful space

This is a small cottage behind the main house in my favorite Berkeley neighborhood (walk to the movie theater, bakeries, coffee shops, grocery store). I liked the radiant heating and warm floor in the winter, comfortable bed with great linens, and lots of light yet private. It's no longer new, and some of the furnishing is showing its age, but I found the place very comfortable. Parking in the driveway was great, as parking can be tight in this area. Patty was an excellent host.

The cottage is very nice and cozy. The host is very sweet and accommodating. We could easily walk to UC Berkeley, many restaurants around and shops - we didn't need a car until we went into SF. I hope to stay again.

Perfect Berkeley cottage

This is a wonderful cottage in an ideal location. The cottage is located behind Patty's house on a quiet street that's three blocks from the inviting College Avenue array of varied restaurants (Italian, American, Mediterranean, ice cream, Peet's). A 20-minute walk to the UC campus. The cottage itself has a large, comfortable bed in main bedroom. a second bedroom with a pull-out couch that we used as an office during a six-day stay, an up-to-date and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, spacious living/family space with big-screen, Hulu-endowed TV. and a small, partially shaded outdoor patio that became one of my favorite go-to parts of the entire stay. Patty is a great host. We look forward to a return visit.
