'We returned here for the 2nd time and had a really good time. Homely good food, cooked fresh every day. The rooms are not huge but are comfortable and clean, with the tea and coffee supplies restocked daily. We will be returning next year if not sooner. Thanks Lyness Guest House'

'What a gem of a find and without hesitation would return. The bus stop is literally just outside around the corner where we got the bus to Scarborough for £2 esch way. We did the pub quiz on the Wednesday night for a good cause at only £1 each to enter with a free bowl of chips and a plate of sandwiches. The pub has a great atmosphere and we eat in the pub on the evening. I had home made steak pie with yorkshire puddings to start. The bedrooms are modern and very clean with tea msking facilities...

'It was a convenient location. It was good to be able to leave the car outside the guest house, and for it to included in the price. My husband and I enjoyed the views from the bedroom window overlooking the bay. However the bedroom was smaller than we expected. The staff and customers were friendly. We expected our 'own' bathroom to be in our bedroom, as opposed to being on the landing next to our bedroom. '

'The bed and breakfast was very comfortable. The breakfasts were superb. The service at breakfast was excellent and the couple who ran the bed and breakfast were very friendly. The rooms were comfortable although the shower was a little weak. We felt Covid safe. The customer lounge area was very pleasant with extremely comfortable seating.'

'Pleasant quiet room, the hotel is on the less crowded North Bay area so very quiet but this also meant that there was nowhere close by to eat. The proprieter was very helpful when we asked for an earlier breakfast as we wanted to get on with ur onward journey.'
