'We returned here for the 2nd time and had a really good time. Homely good food, cooked fresh every day. The rooms are not huge but are comfortable and clean, with the tea and coffee supplies restocked daily. We will be returning next year if not sooner. Thanks Lyness Guest House'

'Stuart was a great host. Room was spacious with a nice big window and high ceilings. Comfortable beds and clean. Location wise was perfect. Only a 2 minute walk to the local shops. We would stay here again '

'The hotel is placed in an ideal location to be able to access the attractions easily. It is a lovely looking place to stay, being well decorated and clean looking. Our room was great, very clean and serviced daily. We would definitely recommend a stay here and will be looking to return again when we are able (with a baby on the way we're not sure when!). 'Room, a good size and couch to sit and watch TV. Only problem was room was on side of main road and difficult to sleep in noise. Also bathroom sink tap not functioning properly. First night I could not open the tap to wash my hands or fill kettle for a cup of tea, had to use the shower. Second night took time to switch off tap. Rang bell to get assistance but no one came so communication poor. Overall not very happy that basic need like tap water was not easily available.'
