'We had a great three night stay. The house is well equipped and comfortable. The main road is busy, but the backyard is private and large. We were able to take advantage of the picnic area with fire pit, which is at the end of a woodsy path. Acadia is a bit of a drive, but there are are also plenty of things to do closer by. The beds are very comfortable. It would be nice to have night stands and reading lamps on both sides of the queen and king beds. I recommend this house for family getaways.'

'This was our third year renting in Ellsworth for a basketball tournament and the 2nd one with Cale. Three families enjoyed this wonderful house. The teenagers enjoyed their own area that included a bathroom and living room. There was also plenty of room for all of us to gather in the main living room and t the dining room. The updated kitchen was just beautiful. The hot tub was an added bonus!!'

'Lighthouse Cabins were very clean and the owners are very friendly, professional and full of information for us. We were not sure what to do at this part of Acadia NP and we were helped. Lovely inside cabin, hot water all the time and free washer and drier. Would stay again. '

'This is our second stay. When they say 1 step above camping that is misleading. By that I mean, if you have camped, this is 20 steps above camping. You have a stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. It has a screened porch, a deck and right on the pond. There are lights and outlets to charge phones and there is service for phones!
