'The property was beautiful and it was very relaxing overall. The only problem we had was bugs. They were swarming at the front door, dead at the front door and once inside they were on the ceiling. Consequently, my wife and I spent the first couple of hours cleaning up bugs. I found out that they were coming in from the window unit. 'We enjoyed our stay here on the lake. Patricia was prompt to respond and answer questions related to the water levels nearing our stay. The house was just as advertised. The loft room could get warm (especially with 100° outside) during the day but temperature was very comfortable on the main level and everywhere in the evenings. Kitchen had lots of pots and pans to cook. Views of the water were lovely and the area was quiet and restful for our weekend getaway.'

'This is a wonderful home with a sunrise view while drinking coffee. Great 3 bedroom with extra beds. We had fun on the lily pad. Our granddaughter caught her first catfish from the boat dock. The three deer walking across the road at dawn and dusk seemed like a dream. We will definitely be back. ❤️'

'My husband and I came to get away and relax and it was perfect for that. There was a little beach right off the back of the house where we could put our chairs and stick our feet in the water and listen to the “waves” that lapped so peacefully against the walls. Not sure if that’s always there or we just lucked out with the right water level. It was so perfect we couldn’t help but want to share it with our kids so they came for the final day. 'The host is very communicative and responds to questions in a timely manner. They met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the property and where things were and how they worked. They are also very generous as we had lost power at our house to recent storms and they let us check in a little earlier than the stated check in time. 'What a beautiful property.! A little off the beaten path but close enough to stores, etc to not feel isolated. No problems getting Ubers to pick us up. The barndominium was adorable. Plenty of common spaces to spread out and visit and the bedrooms and baths were all comfortable and well appointed. Would definitely stay here again.'
