'This was just a quick one night stay on our way to another destination. Frankly we weren’t expecting much ; just a place to rest for the night. We were pleasantly surprised. The clerk and staff were very friendly and responded to our every need. They even gave us a hospitality bag with snacks and bottled water for 2. 'My family and I had an incredible time at this house. The pool is amazing and my kids had a great time on the slide. My husband and I enjoyed our evenings out by the fire pit and when it got a bit chilly, we relaxed in the hot tub. We also spent much needed family time around the pool table. This trip was much needed!'

'Elicia was great - she checked in on us multiple times to ensure our stay was enjoyable and we had everything we needed. The property is beautiful! Only a 45-minute drive from Cypress (which is great for two toddlers) and has lots to do, including swimming, fishing, games, etc., for the adults and kiddos. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely keep in mind for future getaways.'

'We hosted a group of 12 overnight with some drop ins during the day. Everyone loved the property! The younger crowd stayed in the cottage while the more senior parents/grandparents were in the main house. We attended an engagement party at the The Whistling Duck and the location of the house was perfect.'

'The inside of the house was great and had everything you would need. The pool was clean and well kept. The hot tub never got very hot but the home owner communicated with us the entire time and apologized for the inconvenience. He was very nice and even offered to let us check out late. Only reason I give it four instead of five stars is because 1) The Hot Tub and 2) The back yard was a bit over grown and could have used a fresh mowing. Aside from the two thing mentioned above it was great.'

'Pictures don't do the Schmidt's place justice. It's a shame we didn't spend more time in the house, but the time we were there was amazing. Kristi and her husband have thought of everything to make you feel welcomed, and are quick to answer any questions you may have. Looking forward to staying here again!'

'The owners pulled out all the stops building this beautiful home. The home was stocked with anything you would need from the kitchen to entertainment.
