'The Yellow House is a wonderful B and B for a relaxing weekend. The owner is very conscientious and his breakfasts reflect that. There was always hot coffee available in the mornings and snacks, including home made cookies, during the day. The house is very clean and well kept. Our bed was a little small and therefore, I found it hard to sleep well. The next time we stay here I would request a room with a larger bed. I would definitely return for a weekend here. '

'First time VRBO guest and I was nervous especially before seeing the rental and meeting the friendly, helpful host, Denise. The wood stove and dartboard were delightful amenities I did not anticipate. All of us enjoyed the hot tub especially soaking in the beautiful views of the full moon. The space was adorably decorated and more than delivered in adding to our perfect weekend!'

'We had a nice, cozy stay at this cabin! The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The local guides they provide were great, and the Wi-Fi worked well in the cabin for us. It is a little bit of a drive to Asheville or the surrounding areas, but it’s doable. The path leading up to the cabin is definitely easier to navigate before dark, but overall we had a good stay!!'

'My husband and I had originally planned to stay 6 nights. As soon as we saw the property we added 2 more nights (thankful they were available)! It is a perfect mountain retreat! The cabin is cozy, comfortable, and very pretty. We like to cook and we had everything we needed. Love the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area so much we are hoping to retire there soon. 'The room was a nice size with 2 glider chairs, a desk and queen bed and room to move around!! The breakfast was delicious and very filling. The grounds with a mountain view were great for sitting and relaxing, in the morning we were lucky to see a ground hog sitting up in the yard. Brenda and Peter were the perfect hosts with being there if you needed anything. '

'It was in an amazinly beautiful location and all the people we met, staff, etc. were very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the inability to reach staff when we needed them. Housekeeping has no direct contact number. We kept going to the golf shop and he would arrange for what we needed by getting in touch for us'

'The mattress were somewhat hard and older as was the carpets but this place was the cleanest older hotel I have ever seen. I would definitely recommend. Beware, upstairs doesn’t have an elevator but just two flights of stairs. Love the community area with the fire pit and huge covered shelter. '
