'The grounds are beautiful. The hotel is being renovated and is a work in progress. It's close to the beach, so keeping all areas clean would be nearly impossible. Housekeeping was non existent. We had to ask to have them empty trash and bring towels. The front desk was always quick to give extras or bring extras to the room. We spent 3 nights and breakfast was the same every morning, but there were several options...it just got boring by the 3rd day. All things considered, we would stay again...

'Check in was quick and staff was friendly! When we needed something for our rooms, the staff was very quick to deliver and friendly as well. They seem to be doing renovations. The condition is very worn, but on a good note, everything was working. A nice paint job and airing out the rooms (without smokers around) would help. Price was very reasonable, especially for the holiday weekend! Everything in the area was 2-3x as much. '

'It's really a nice hotel, only when you are at the wrong site of the hotel, you hear the generators next to your window. It kept us awake most part of the night. The rooms are really spacious and nice. It's only the noise that gave the overall bad feeling. Breakfast was very simple, no bread only cerials, fruit and the coffee was good. It is within walking distance to the cruise terminal. The offered free ride never showed up on time.'

'Had the family room (3 double beds) and it was perfect for our family of 6. Cool antique type refrigerator and microwave. Nice pool and played cornhole after breakfast in pavillion. Homecooked breakfast satisfied all of us including 10yr to 16yr old. Friendly staff and clean pool.'
