The location was perfect for exploring the area and taking day trips in the region - Seattle, Victoria BC, Portland, Mt Rainier National Park, and Olympic National Park. It was clean and well stocked in most things we needed. Something I've experienced multiple times at VRBOs is a shortage of wash rags given the people+days booked. In all fairness, we didn't ask Tim, we just got a pile of inexpensive rags at Walmart (which was conveniently close by),...

'This house fit all 9 of us comfortably. The old house is a little creaky, but has lots of character. Having three bathrooms was a plus! It has absolutely everything. All the kitchen stuff you would need, lots a games and puzzles, a large deck and yard with lots of outdoor furniture and even a propane heater and fire table. We stayed there for my son's wedding at Thornewood Castle, and my whole family had a great time.'

'We decided to try a boat instead of a hotel for our stay in Gig Harbor. What a fabulous experience it was. The boat was a classic wood hull and interior, beautifully restored, with everything working perfect. Michelle was an amazing host, extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. The setting in Gig harbor was spectacular, views, wildlife....lot's of stuff to do..and within walking distance to the historic downtown waterfront area. HIGHLY recommend you give one of their 3 boats a try!!'
