'This house was in an ideal location for visiting Luray. We were minutes from downtown and the caverns but had a lot of privacy and a great view of the mountains from the front porch! The back yard is excellent. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in their property. It is well maintained and has tons of activities for children. 'Beautiful quiet location. Very close to the forest, but unfortunately there is a large stream that runs across the trail that leads to GWNF. Otherwise, a nearly perfect place! The host's communication was great as well. We enjoyed the pool table (can be table tennis as well), and the variety of hikes a short drive away. Some of the furniture had animal hair on it from a previous guest. A deeper clean would have been appreciated, but it wasn't a major concern. We will consider visiting again in...

'We had a great stay. The weather cooperated and we could use the 3 spacious patios to the fullest. The view is outstanding and the cabin is remote yet really close to amenities and shopping. Great times had by all.'

'Quaint cottage with comfortable living space and bonus outdoor lounge chairs to enjoy an afternoon book. The property is within 30 mins of hiking trails in Shenandoah National Park. We really appreciated the ability to get to Main Street high end restaurants and an ice cream shop that had delicious flavor choices. 'Beautiful home and hostess was very responsive. The home omitted nothing in providing a complete pleasurable experience especially in the kitchen. When we got there our water was turned off, which threw me in a panic mode, but my hvac son soon corrected that situation. The hostess did get back to us right away and then we turned it on according to her instructions. 'This is the 2nd year we have stayed here for HOA. The house is old but has a story and i like that. There is plenty of room for the whole group to have our own space. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook our own meals. The view of the river is nice. We love the driveway to the house. Its filled with cows and lots of wildlife. Never know what you will see. Town isnt to far away. Overall this is a nice place to stay for our little get away. We enjoyed it. On the downside like last year...

'Our family of 5 (3 grown kids) had a nice stay, the train was very loud though which was the only negative. I could imagine it would be a thrill for little ones. The home was clean, and the comforts of coffee, soap, paper products provided by the host was very nice. The hiking was lovely despite wildfires on the first day, and Luray Caverns was a highlight of our weekend. Would definitely visit again.'
