'The home was tucked away in the side of the mountain and across from a beautiful trial. Semi close to town, the trolly was a life saver for the walk back to the home, as it is an uphill walk back. A few house rules that seemed a little over the top ( no shoes on the hardwood, no eating in any bedrooms, no smoking of any kind anywhere on the property-I'm not a smoker but my spouse enjoys a cigar in the evenings) all in all it was a much needed relaxing stay during our RV trip.'

We visited family locally but also were able to have some quality down time. Highly recommend for a family visit. Appreciated that the host set up the gas grill and there was patio furniture available.'

'Everything about The Overlook was perfect! We were in town for our oldest grandson’s high school graduation and a mini-family reunion. The house was spotless when we arrived with everything we needed. The kitchen was open with a large table for meals and family card games, there was plenty of seating in the upstairs living room and basement family room. 'Our family stayed here for 4 nights while exploring the surrounding area. The location was just what we needed for visiting Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, Custer State Park and an assortment of other places. From the time we walked through the door it felt welcoming and homelike. 'This was a very nice vrbo. We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was great after riding our motorcycle on colder days. The attention to detail with a fully stocked kitchen and fully stocked towels by the door for the hot tub was a nice touch! Also very nice that they provided lots of extra travel size toiletries. We enjoyed the basement with the large tv at the end of a long day. Only issue we had was we could not find a remote for living room tv or get it to turn on manually.'

'We had a fantastic time at this beautiful home. We had a group of 7 adults and 7 kids, we felt so comfortable in this cabin! The basement is so great for kids of all ages, there are great sleeping spaces for a group this size! This cabin has it all, some of us didn’t go explore the town as the cabin and beautiful scenery with falling snow was more than enough!! Would definitely recommend, and book again!'
