'Our stay here was wonderful! It was all about the staff and of course the inn that made our stay warm and elegant! Let’s talk about the staff, TT greeted me with a phone call to see what time we would be arriving, she wanted to make sure we could get into the inn after hours! 'We had an outstanding stay at a Historic Inn (c. 1744). Inn Keeper Cherie was most helpful and a delightful hostess. Breakfast was outstanding. Located in Historic Old Salem. 'The motel was very nice and clean. The room was clean and everything was well kept. I loved the towels, they were big and soft. It is a little out in the country, about 2 or 3 miles from the village of Lexington. The kitchen was handy but I never really cooked in it. On my next trip to NC I will be happy to stay there again. I paid for a king-size room, but the internet connection didn't work there, so I had to be moved to a double, which was just as dark, with torn carpet and broken lampshades.
