'Echt superschoon en waanzinnig mooi ingericht. Je waant je 100 jaar terug. Geen receptie, geen ontbijt, alles ligt klaar bij aankomst. Geen nachtbewaking, terwijl de voordeur openstaat, maat politiebureau is aan de overkant van de straat. Dus een beetje vreemd is het wel om op deze manier te verblijven in iemands huis.'

'What an exquisite property— the grounds, the house, the decor! The room is luxurious but only lacks in having a table to set things on (the closet is very small, too), but the room makes up for it in every other way. It was self check in with no host on site but communication was excellent and the next day, my husband ran into one of the managers, Nicole, who was a darling— so sweet and friendly and helpful. Trumansburg is a charming, very small town and 16 Elm is one of the nicest inns...

'This inn is just right. First off, a real Bed & Breakfast! A hot breakfast was wonderful each morning! The room was spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. Being an historic building, it was charming, though a little updating of the bathroom would go a long way. Location is very convenient to downtown Ithaca and wine country. The intersection around the inn is a bit busy and must be a trucking route. We found we did really notice the trucks at times on the weekday...

'Great house for our large family. We all had a private suite with our own bathroom. It was perfect for us to relax and prepare to attend a family wedding on Cayuga Lake which is only a 30 minute drive through a beautiful area of our country. So much history in the house and town!'

'We had a wonderful stay at Christine's property. The house was more spacious than expected and fit 17 of us (adults) comfortably. Only steps away from a dock overlooking lake Owasco. Tons of backyard space for lawn games. Driveway had tons of space and was only 10 minutes away from the downtown of Auburn. Christine was wonderful and we hope to come back again!'

'The location directly on the lake is amazing with large grassy yard right up to the lake’s edge without need for any steps…surrounded by 270 degrees of water. House itself is modest and quaint with nice furnishings and decorations and very comfortable beds and well appointed with everything you’d need for a lake vacation. Hanging out in the hot tub and dock at sunset over the lake was the best! Highly recommend this rental!'
