'not a comfortable environment at all, cabin was full of bugs and cob webs everywhere, have to pay for guest’s to come visit. They say speed limit 5 mph but they zoom around on go carts going past cars, then tell the cars to slow down, because you’re not white!!!!!!! Most horrible experience ever!!! Then got police called on us as well!!!!! '

'The place was nicely remolded and looked like the photos. However, there was a terrible bug problem. You could not open the doors once it got dark out because hundreds of bugs would get in!! The counter tops would be filled with dead bugs the next morning. We would have to clean and vacuum a bunch of times. They seem to be trying to fix it by putting bug lights in the house. 'The fishing was amazing right off the dock, not the big trout but the panfish type. We rented a boat right down the road conveniently located and caught the lake trout. It was nice to have the bedroom on the first floor for my BIL who has difficulty doing stairs. There were plenty of comfortable chairs inside and out for comfortable bird watching and sunsets. Although we are too old to use them there were kayaks and a canoe. I would definitely come back.'

'We felt like we were in the middle of peaceful woods with our very own lake to skip rocks on. Then we jumped in our car and we were in the cutest town, Skaneateles, with shops restaurants and a great place to walk in just a 4 minute car ride! My kids want us to buy the cabin!'

'We had a wonderful stay at Christine's property. The house was more spacious than expected and fit 17 of us (adults) comfortably. Only steps away from a dock overlooking lake Owasco. Tons of backyard space for lawn games. Driveway had tons of space and was only 10 minutes away from the downtown of Auburn. Christine was wonderful and we hope to come back again!'

'The location directly on the lake is amazing with large grassy yard right up to the lake’s edge without need for any steps…surrounded by 270 degrees of water. House itself is modest and quaint with nice furnishings and decorations and very comfortable beds and well appointed with everything you’d need for a lake vacation. Hanging out in the hot tub and dock at sunset over the lake was the best! Highly recommend this rental!'
