'I came here to spend Christmas with my daughter and we had a wonderful. The space is beautifully renovated with plenty of room and a nice kitchen to make Christmas dinner. The location is great - close to downtown and right near some athletic parks where the dogs enjoyed playing. We hope to come back.'

'Beautiful house in a very nice location with very friendly hosts. We came up to move our daughter out of UVM dorm and then we used it as our jumping off point to Shelburn and, of course, downtown Burlington. We arrived on the later side and our host offered to drive me downtown to meet my wife so that we would not miss our dinner reservations. The space is very clean, the bed comfortable, and the views are amazing!'

'My family really enjoyed this Lake House. The beautiful views of the lake were breathtaking. The house had everything we needed for preparing meals. The kitchen was functional and generally well equipped. The beds in the house were particularly comfortable. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck with perfect views of the lake. 'We had 14 people stay, 8 adults and 6 children. There was lots of room for the children to play and rooms to accommodate varied sleeping arrangements. The kitchen was well equipped but I always travel with my own knives and favorite cooking pot. We arrived to find snow on the ground which the kids loved. The next couple of days it all melted and we had gorgeous weather for the eclipse. I would definitely stay again if the family decides to revisit the area.'

'The owner had the place ready to go when we arrived. It was a late arrival, but there were outside lights that were warm and inviting. Plenty of space for our party of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids). Kitchen was welled stocked with cooking necessities, great hangout spaces in the basement and first floor, and a convenient space for ski boots and outer gear in the basement near parking. 'Dillenbeck Cabins are excellent. They're 'rustic' (lots of wood, built by Amish carpenters - it's a cabin not a hotel) but practically new and immaculately clean. The heating is excellent and the cabin comes with all the kitchen. You need to bring linens/blankets and towels but that just makes it feel more homelike. Soap, garbage bags, toilet tissue, washing-up items are provided.There's a boat launch very close, restaurants and grocers 10-20 mins away (we didn't go, that's ours and Google's...
