'Everything was great! We stayed at Hotel Effie last year and this year opted for the VRBO…so incredibly glad we did! The location and view were fantastic! It was such a simple process to arrive and depart as there was no onsite check-in. The unit was exceptionally clean and well appointed! 'The outside of the building was not impressive nor was the inside corridors or elevator. Don't let the outside fool you. I thought I has made a mistake and booked the wrong place. As soon as the door to the condo was opened all of my worries vanished. It was perfectly appointed furniture,drapes. 2 big screen TVs.All of the appliances were the best and looked like new. 'Pool was nice and walk to beach was short. Building has 2 elevators, one of which was out-of-order all week making the other full a lot. Had to walk the 9 flights of stairs several times to avoid long waits. There were 2 separate doors with codes to get into the room and the second door code was 11 digits (have no idea why so long), so was very inconvenient. Existing condition of the property is not as it appears in the ad picture. I am assuming it is an older picture from when the property...

'The location is wonderful- I didn't realize that you could walk to Baytowne Wharf in a minute. We took many trips there and spend 90% of our time on the property. The hot tubs were great. The pool was cold, but normal for late March beautiful and our kids still swam in it. The room was about the size of a standard hotel room. It was tight, but that is what we expected and the tall ceilings made it feel larger.'
