'We arrived at 3:00, one hour after check-in, and our room was not ready. We were told we would receive a call or text when the room was ready. We sat on the beach for three hours. No call and no text. When we returned to the front desk, they said they had tried to call me. That was untrue. No one called or texted me. '

'The hotel was old and worn down, but clean and in a great location. The staff was very nice and helpful. Price was a bit too high for the state of the accommodation. '

'The rooms looked clean, but there was cereal under the sink. The water never got hot, and I hate taking warm showers! I also do not think you should have to pay for parking, especially when you are paying over $600 per night! I do appreciate getting a room at a good location for the Monster truck event. There should also be extra trash bags when you are staying longer than a day. The staff was nice except for the check in person who seemed like she had an attitude and that I was bothering...

'Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The staff were always attentive to our needs. The parking was free to veterans. I loved and appreciated that. The only criticism was the the bathroom was a little tight. We will stay again when visiting Virginia Beach. '
