And now she makes amazing red velvet pancakes with icing. Coffee was different every day, and very knowledgeable of area. Will be coming back again. I am from Maine originally, so this felt like home. Very welcoming.'

'The host put a lot of thought into the space, with a cute gift of local maple syrup, a binder full of nearby things to do and restaurants, and overall the space was clean and well maintained. Nice historic location, we had fun walking around the town. This was a fun stay as we drove up for the solar eclipse and drove to our viewing area the next morning. Minus 1 star, because though the home did appear clean, there did seem to be a kitchen mouse. Made the property owner aware of this issue.'

'Location was awesome, house met the description and was comfortable. Stayed with dog and 3 kids. Doors (or walls?) were a little drafty in the winter, but heating seemed to be ok. Heated floors in bathrooms were really nice. Suggest more than 2 dishwasher tabs per renter. Basement is quite cold but we didn't need to use it for sleeping. Still, 5 stars, great property and would stay again.'

'Awesome location. Beautiful scenery. Worked for me and 3 of my buddies on a golf trip. Lacked some basic amenities. Some items were broken prior to us arriving. Inside of stove was very dirty. We made steaks the first night and the stove almost smoked the house out. Could have used some extra pillows and blankets as we had a couch sleeper and someone with a cot to accommodate 4 adult men. Overall we enjoyed our stay and worked for what we needed. Will definitely be back and will come more...

'This home was under 20 mins to the wedding venue we attended, very convenient. There was a glitch in my booking and VRBO did not list my booking. Right up to day of check in the house was listed as available on their website. That was a bit unnerving and made it challenging to communicate with the host. Another comfy chair or two would have been nice. All in all we were satisfied'

'The house is super nice and cozy, but there was a lot of mud in the parking lot, making things quite difficult to pack and unpack the car. The WiFi signal was good, but super low speed. Other than these two things, we loved the place and would recommend it, specially because it is very close to Okemo Ski resort.'

'Enjoyed our 2-night stay at this home. Situated between Rt100 and the West River, it has direct main road access with the natural ambiance of river floating by. We could hear/see ducks and geese in the morning. The back deck was covered with a snow pile that we had to shovel to gain access to the grill for our Spring visit.
