'Our 1st night, 6/2-6/3. the staff was not expecting us. someone was in half of our villa, one couple had to sleep on the couch. Alberto did his best to make us comfortable. The 6/10-6/11, again the villa was not ready for us. Conrad did his best. The property was clean beautiful, we enjoyed very much!'

'We really enjoyed our stay here, you WILL need to rent a car (ideally one with 4WD/AWD) to get around the island, so keep that in mind. The family that runs the place is super cool and helpful. The main drawbacks were the heat and the bugs. I don't think the heat would be as big a problem if we weren't staying in the Yurt and we're instead staying in one of the more airy tents. I recommend checking the weather before booking and making sure the nights will be cool during your stay if you're...

'There were many great things about St John USVI, however: 1. You will absolutely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The grade leading to the Villa is about 40%. 2. You need to bring enough stuff to wear for the entire trip... no washer/dryer. 3. You'll need to eat out most meals unless you like doing dishes on vacation... no dishwasher. 4. 'Our family of 4 stayed in John's most perfect condo for Easter weekend. It is the perfect spot- easy, short walking distance to all the great restaurants, bars, and shops in Cruz Bay. The balcony views were amazing! John provided us with everything we could possibly need or want- comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, beach towels, cooler, beach chairs, large bathroom, and a spacious balcony! Super location so close to Great and Little Lameshur Bays, and to Salt Pond so made visiting these locations during our stay a breeze.
