'We wanted a cozy place to stay close enough to a beach to see the ocean that was not too full of people. The fishing was not great but that was just bad timing with the weather and season. Host was accommodating to early check in and night fishing. When we come back to Texas we will certainly look for this place again. We are in a grungy campground outside of Dallas on our way home and already wishing we had spent an extra day at fisherman’s isle!'

'We were looking for a place to stay while we went fishing. It was fine for that. The air couldn't cool down below 87 during the day. However it was over 100 outside. Just curious, does anyone ever use the toddler beds that take over the 2nd bedroom. Seems to me a twin bed in the room might be better.'

'Our family spent the majority of Spring Break here this week (3 nights). We had an excellent time enjoying the pool, cooking out on the patio with the grill and caught around two dozen small sheepshead (No keepers, but they were some biters & fighters!!!). The house fit our family of six comfortably and the wi-fi was fast enough that the teens could play their video games in the evenings. The home was also pretty well stocked, however there was a dollar general about a mile from the house and...
