'Lovely few days away in Whitby! The owners of Heathfield B&B, Linda & John, were very warm and welcoming and gave us lots of great advice on where to eat and places to visit. The room was very clean and homely. Good breakfast and selection. Great to have free available parking. Well located to access Whitby town and all the usual tourist spots (although a few hills to navigate!). Would definitely stay again! '

'A nice place in a great location just a 5 minute walk from Grosmont Station. Its not a modern hotel, and rooms are not soundproofed so you can expect to overhear other guests coming and going. The showers are difficult to set to the right heat and are affected by other people using water. A bit of modernisation would help. Decor in room dated and could do with refreshing but otherwise, a nice friendly place to spend a few nights. '

'The property is really nicely done up and the folk who run it are charming. The local shops (within 50 yards) are superb and we enjoyed getting bread and meat from them for going home! The local pub was an excellent place to dine!'

'Requested parking and Luckily managed to secure a parking space outside the guest house and Phil gave me a parking permit for our full stay. The room was big, clean and comfortable with sofa to relax on, ensuit with shower and lovely soft towels. Teas, coffee and hot chocolate, bisuits and chocolate daily in room. The breakfast was lovely and the full english was huge, cereal, yogurt and fruit availble. We had a lovely stay and would return when in Whitby '

'Absolutely loved our stay here. Wildgoose cottage is lovely and we enjoyed every minute there. Living in a terraced house on an estate it was so amazing to stay here with such beautiful surroundings. To look out of the window and see deer, rabbits, pheasants and the horses in the field at the back. The cottage is clean and comfortable and fully equipped.'
