The best against Covid is Fresh air, no neighbors, and just outside Amsterdam, located between the meadows of Wijdewormer, 3 km from Koog aan de Zaan where world's famous Zaanse Schans is located. Our charming B & B is suitable for groups of up to 10 people. Make beautiful walks or bike rides. Visit old fisher villages Volendam and Marken, or flower paradise "the Keukenhof". Amsterdam City Center is 15 minute by car. If you don't come by car you better hire one or use taxi's.There is no public transport within 5 km.

At 15 km from Amsterdam, in the polder countryside between farmhouses, lies our home with its charming, fully self-supporting guesthouse for 1 till 10 persons(even till 12p.)
There is a terrace, and a big garden, all around the house and in the grass land you find enough space to play football.
The guesthouse is built against our house, which gives you all the privacy you need, while having us always nearby if you need help with anything.
Ideal for families with kids, 5 couples, 10 friends, but also often used as a writers' and artists' retreat.
The house has 4 bedrooms plus a big living/dinner space.
The atmosphere is warm, relaxed and relatively basic. We have central heating, free WIFI, mp3 plugin, TV.

Downstairs:
Fully equipped kitchen with cooker, refrigerator, freezer, microwave/grill/oven and coffee machine.
Entrance with big living/dinner room, a 10 pers dinner table (+children/baby chairs), in the corridor a toilet and at the end a 2/4 pers bedroom with private shower.
Upstairs:
2 double bed rooms with king size bed and 1 room with a bunk bed.
A bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.

A car would be most convenient, but if you come without, you take a taxi/ Uber to our house
Note that without a car you will have to like the idea of cycling around as the Dutch do. It is a beautiful biking area, and we provide bicycles to get around during your stay, see the area, go to a restaurant or to the trainstation etc., as walking might be a little bit too far or inconvenient along the road we live.

Our house is 5 minutes by car away from world's famous open air museum Zaanse Schans, with its historic houses and windmills to visit. Here you will feel and relive the history of the Netherlands.
Of course the house is also a perfect operating base for visiting and going out in Amsterdam. The house is nearby Amsterdam, about 15 kilometers.

In the house is lots of space with big garden where you can eat, drink a glass of wine, BBQ, enjoy the sun and your kids can play all they like.

The house is decorated with beautiful old and new design furniture and ornaments. The bedrooms are stylish, warm and full of color. You feel home immediately!
