'Very cute place rental and convenient to Cornell. Price was very reasonable. We would recommend this place to others and definitely stay here again. Some extra amenities would be a very nice addition such as having some extra TP, hand/ dish soap (shower soap was empty), paper towels, napkins, etc. There was coffee which was awesome-- we had brought our own so we were all set. 'The property was clean and matched the photos. However, the listing is misleading. This is a unit in a house; you do not get the entire house, as there are other occupants on the other side. The big issue with this rental was how unaccommodating the host was when we requested to leave our suitcases after check-out. He did not try to help at all, which I thought was really inconsiderate on his part.'

'This house was just right. It has 5 well spaced big bedrooms, and important to note a king bedroom and bath on the ground floor. The house was spotless and uncluttered. Each room had a fan and plenty of extra blankets and towels. One of the bedrooms is an apartment right off the kitchen. My son enjoyed this having this be very private. 'We truly enjoyed our weekend at The Pine Tree. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and convenient. It was well appointed and provided all we needed to feel at home while away from home. We loved that our host stocked the kitchen with basic spices as well as coffee and tea. It was a quick and easy drive to SUNY Cortland. We hope to return to the Pine Tree in the near future.'

'The place is awesome. I loved the view of the slopes! And the whole feel is a ski cabin. The living room area was great with ample comfy seats and seats for eating at table and at island. Loved the (gas) fireplace. The kitchen was so well stocked with basics - from oil and vinegar, to coffee filters, to aluminum foil. Note that the amazing proximity to the mountain means being 15 minutes from groceries and restaurants. The one big note is that there's a cool spiral staircase to an awesome loft...

'This is a property that exemplifies an absentee owner. It was clean inside but exterior was not well maintained. Fire pit rotted through, life vests moldy and deck smelled bad. The lake is beautiful to look at but full of seaweed and has water moccasin snakes around. It does have a two person limit so it’s overpriced.'
