'I checked in at the place looked “clean” when opening the door, did my usual inspection and take photos if needed. Needless to say the fire alarm was not working and neither was it connected. But having a car, we had parking and were centrally located to other neighborhoods of interest. Walkable to many restaurants and markets for essentials. Laurie was a great host!'

We went to the LA Natural History Museum, the California Science Center and the African American Museum. There was so much to see, we didn't get to a lot of them! 'Todd was great at communicating with us while we were there. Check in and out a breeze. The photos are a little deceiving - balcony is very tiny and we didn’t have a deck. The views were amazing though and so easy to get to things.'

'I stayed at Elizabeth’s upstairs apartment with my husband and 5yo twins. Street parking was always available and the beach/pier was a short walk. We cooked in the kitchen and did laundry in the space provided. We used the beach toys, beach mats and umbrella. We opted to rent bikes as we wanted tandem bikes for our children which was an easy walk from the apartment, but beach bikes and helmets were available. We appreciated the comfortable beds, quiet street and black out curtains which all contributed to restful evenings. The host was super responsive and helpful. 'This house was recently remodeled and they thought of everything a guest might need. Beds and furniture are very comfortable, the kitchen and two bathrooms well-equipped. The push button door lock is easy to use, no fumbling with a key and lock box. Parking is easy, and the location could not be better. 'I really liked my stay. The location is great on the well known Venice Beach Boardwalk, the beach is literally 5 steps away. On the rooftop you can chill as well with a great view. Rooms are nice as well, beautiful bathroom and good bed to sleep in when you are not out in Venice and/or Santa Monica.'
