'The home was exactly as pictured online. It was immaculately clean and owner was very responsive, even reaching out to us to simply make sure we were comfortable. There are areas to be together as a large group in the house and the layout also provides plenty of privacy with 8 separate bedrooms. We had an amazing stay and will definitely stay here again next year.'

'A perfect place to experience the lake life vibe and relax with wonderful wooded lake views from the full wrap around deck as well as inside the cabin. The home was just as described and had everything needed for a perfect stay. Hosts Linda and Josh were great and really stepped up to ensure for our comfort and safety when a storm came through the area. 'This house is perfwct for family bonding time in the game room. We especially loved the karaoke set up! The home was clean and perfect size for our family of 6. The view of the lake is great as well as the wildlife, we saw multiple Pileated Woodpeckers and Carolina Wrens.'

'We really enjoyed our stay this past weekend. We hauled a vehicle for the cruise in and had plenty of room for the truck and trailer. Our ONLY negative was that the carpet was a bit worn in places, but the place was so clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!'

'Cleanliness was above. It rained hard one day, but to sit on the porch and smell and listen to it was what I needed. The big surprise was there were feral cats, and it made me feel like I was home. 'This was exactly how described. The home is clean and had coffee and creamer available, baggies and aluminum foil and other items usually not found at a rental home. We were all impressed with the number of quality towels available. A bad storm went through and the whole area lost power. The owners communicated with us on a regular basis. The loss of power didn’t dampen our trip. I would highly recommend this home'

'From the rain on the metal roof to the nights we had by the fire, the whole stay was so peaceful and relaxing. The cabin is quaint with a lot of personality, and the cabins in the resort are spread out so as not to be crowding. We had everything we needed. We grilled some steaks, read books , and took nice hikes in the area. The stay was exactly what we wanted. Calvin is very accommodating helpful. We will definitely stay here again.'

'This house is in a very peaceful area. House was clean and comfortable. Loved the sunroom. Due to high water levels it was difficult to use the dock. Lost power, but it was restored quickly. Kitchen is nice and well-stocked. Pans are in rough shape. You definitely need to bring food to cook as there is no place close to eat out or get groceries. We enjoyed Nolin Lake State Park and Mammoth Cave State Park. Overall a nice stay.'

'Our family had a very nice 3 night stay. The weather cooperated as much as we needed, and the large covered deck helped out when the weather couldn't contain itself. Mammoth Caves are a very short drive, and the drive to Bolling Green (for the Corvette Museum) was beautiful. The owners of the property could have been more helpful, and responsive. 'Thank you very much for the wonderful accommodations for my father in laws memorial. It was the perfect spot for our family to come together and reminisce with plenty of space for the kids to play after the service, and the views were amazing! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked, and I was beyond excited to find REAL toilet paper for us! Thank you again, and we will most definitely stay here again when we return to Somerset/Burnside!'

'The layout is nice, the view is wonderful. The noise level from highway is loud at times. The windows do not all have screens and some of them have openings that let in bugs. The kitchen is not well equipped with items, such as sharp knives, coffee, baking pans, or serving dishes. The pillows are terrible and the blankets are cheap.'

'Through no fault of their own, Holiday Inn Express at Horse Cave was unable to host us. When we arrived to check in, the clerk regretfully informed us that power had just been restored after a multi-day regional blackout due to storms. Consequently, they were in no shape to take guests that night. They had tried to reach us when the power went out but Hotels.com had not provided our contact number.... Despite the fact that I had included it when I booked the room on the hotels.com site. For what...
