'Hotel is wonderful both in its extremely beautiful surrounding. Food was average but place had very hospitable staff. Infinity pool is something unique as it overlooks mountains n water expenses of the Dam.'

'Great new resort in Wayanad, opened in Dec 2016. Views are breathtaking, especially when the water levels are high in the lake. Clean swimming pool, clean and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Good recreation room for winding down. Great service by the staff.'

As predicted by the ranger, the afternoon safari was fantastic with many elephant sightings. The early morning safari, even though it was beautiful on the river, was less successful in terms of seeing animals. 'Hotel, ambiance, location etc is excellent. So a stopover for a few days is very recommended. Safari-options however are not clear and insufficient supported. It seems that it is handled by "goverment busses" while other lodges have acces to private vehicles (Jeeps) which can come closer to the wild animals.'
