'A lovely place if you want to get away from everything. A rural setting and would be a wonderful location for children - cows and sheep in the fields around and plenty of facilities for them. Need your own transport to travel into Bayeux or Tilly Sur Seuilles. A choice of accommodation - we had a nice chalet. There are wigwams, yurts, caravan. The whole site has a quirky atmosphere but is quite magical. Proprietor very friendly. '

'Nous avons passé un excellent sejour au Haras d'Havetot. L'endroit est très calme au milieu des prairies et des chevaux. L'accueil est chaleureux et à l'écoute. La chambre est propre, spacieuse et trés confortable. L'espace détente/spa est magnifique et bien pensé. Le petit dejeuner est un delice, beaucoup de chose faite maison.

'Leuk hotel, personeel is vriendelijk en spreekt Engels. Kamers beschikken over een klein keukentje met koelkast, magnetron, kookgelegenheid en kookgerei. Bedden zijn comfortabel. Gebouw is ietwat gedateerd maar kamers en sanitair zijn schoon. Buiten kun je lekker zitten aan één van de picknicktafels. Locatie is prima. 5 minuten lopen vanaf de kust en restaurants en supermarkt vlakbij. Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. '

'The staff were wonderful, very attentive and friendly.
We were in a stand alone house operated by the hotel. The only issue we believe exists, is the need for additional seating in the common area. Such as a large sofa.
The location is a few minute walk to shops, restaurants, and the tapestry. A great home base for Normandy battle sights.

'Mooi hotel op prachtige locatie. Geen 5 sterren omdat ontvangst ronduit onvriendelijk was. Personeel daarop aangesproken, kregen excuses maar werden de volgende ochtend bij uitchecken weer onvriendelijk te woord gestaan.

The guy at the desk was very nice. He gave us some info about te town when we asked. The room was clean and well kept.

'It was a wonderful stay in a French chateau in the countryside. We rented a car so there was no issue with transportation but I’m not sure how you would get around if you didn’t have one. Our room was on the top floor but they helped carry the suitcases up as there was no elevator. I was worried about not having air conditioning but there was a fan in the room and when the windows were open it had a nice cross breeze so it wasn’t an issue. The gardens were amazing and well kept. We had a nice...

'We had a very enjoyable stay, spent a lot of the time at the pool which was heated and in a nice location. Room was large considering it was a standard. Staff friendly, clean hotel, lots of parking, short drive to town, nice location and surroundings.

Kamers aardig, badkamer gedateerd en WIFI erg matig. Door groep leerlingen op schoolreis werd ontbijt pas om 0845 beschikbaar gesteld voor andere gasten. Gast past zich aan het hotel aan en niet andersom blijkbaar. Apart en ietwat teleurstellend "
