'Incredible home away from home for myself and my partner. Staff was absolutely amazing and so kind. Food was delicious and there were other walkable dining options in a nearby town. Quiet and nestled among the mountains and olive groves but also very close to the beach and Lake Kourna. What a beautiful gem of a place!! '

'We stayed 4 nights at Alkion, the staff is extremely nice and give you the feeling of being at home. Father, mother and 2 sons are running this place and provide you with all the information you need about Georgioupoli (Jojupoli) and Crete Island. The breakfast is very good. Alkion is situated just outside of Georgioupoli on the main road but in the evening and night it is very quiet. The complex has a nice swimming pool where you can relax and have a drink from the bar. 'Lovely clean, spacious studios equipped with all you need for a self catering stay. The owner, his wife and son were most welcoming and friendly and always had a cheerful greeting for us. Very convenient for both the beach and the village, both within a few minutes walk. There were a couple of supermarkets close by for breakfast provisions etc and a superb bar just around the corner. Would definitely recommend this property for for a wonderful stay in Georgiopolis.'

'Bij aankomst in het hotel kregen wij te horen dat wij een gratis upgrade kregen naar het 5 sterren resort Georgioupolis vanwege mijn verjaardag! Wij werden naar het andere resort gebracht, kregen informatie en de sleutel. Personeel nam onze koffers over en bracht de koffers en ons naar de juiste kamer. Top service! Eten was goed, drankjes prima, cocktails zijn minder goed maar niets te klagen over ons verblijf!'
