'It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

'We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. 'This is a 1905 Victorian farmhouse (ie 1905 Victorian in middle of farm 😆). Beautiful, serene that takes you back in time. Only note is that there are 2 bathrooms for the 4 bedrooms - again house from 1905… well kept and they had a great library if you wanted to checked out plants/birds/mushrooms/etc… for the area. Marsha was great and had lots of suggestions. We’ll plan a longer stay next time. Photo was shot from balcony next to our room.'

'Had a guys weekend away. The home was a perfect home base. The resort had everything we needed for a great weekend (golf course, bar, restaurant, perfect fall weather). Terra Alta is also a wonderful little mountain town with great coffee and beer. May need to look into purchasing a home in Alpine Lake.'

'Very clean property and everything we needed was there. Very easy check in and out process. Convenient location to Blackwater Falls and cute shops, galleries, and eateries within a couple minutes. Grocery store and convenience store are close as well. We stayed with our two boys, two dogs, and in-laws. The space was cozy, but plenty of seating and space to separate when we needed it. I would recommend this location and would happily stay again.'
