'We had a nice stay with a very helpfull guestlady and owner who helped us out a lot when we were unfortunate enough to encounter a flat tire. The surroundings of this hotel are beautiful with the mountains and fjord to look over. Breakfast was nice with local icelandic bread.'

'Cosy guesthouse in the middle of nowhere. The owner, Siggi, gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived and we had a great chat with him over morning coffee. The room and facilities were excellent; next to the room itself there's a well equipped common area with sofas, TV, fridge, etcetera. Excellent bed and pillows. Got a tasty breakfast buffet even though it just the two of us that morning. Would come again!'

'My wife and I just loved this place. We stayed in the room #7. New, clean, well decorated, quiet, peaceful. Very cool interacting with other guests during the delicious breakfast. Marcia, the Portuguese lady that works there was very kind and nice. We do recommend this place!'

'It's a lovely guesthouse in a former school building, with a small room but a comfortable common area and a well stocked kitchen. Beautiful views of the fjord. The area is a bit isolated--just a tiny village, and it takes over an hour to get there from the main road by a steep winding dirt road. We hiked up the hill, but the trail isn't well maintained. It's a great place for peace and quiet, but not as a base for exploring the eastern fjords.'
