'The only issue was the weather related power outage which did not really allow us to use any of amenities. I am confident it would've been much more fun if we had electricity given the set up/provided amenities. I am not sure if a back up generator is standard/required or not but that was the only issue. 'We enjoyed a peaceful week at this log cabin. It has a lovely front porch and larger side deck for sitting and enjoying the serene surroundings. The kitchen is well-stocked and has a handy mud/laundry room. The hosts are helpful and warm and we enjoyed the daily visits from Rancher, their black Labrador. We hope to be able to return again in the future.'

'My friend and I had a wonderfully relaxing and quiet time at Up the Creek. We were the only ones there for two days, so we picked a great time to go! They have a fully kitted kitchen with everything avaialble to cook up your meals. We took all our own food so our two days away from the city was super inexpensive.
