'Location is fine, rooms are clean and well kept but the place feels a bit abandoned and unloved. Staff is friendly and helpful, but all services (check in, breakfast) are in another hotel across the road, which means there is no security or supervision at all. We were given a room without balcony, which was clearly offered in their listing. Without much ado they gave us a better room, saying they put 'the wrong photo' up and it had to be changed. The wrong photo is still up there, so...

'Beautiful modern hotel and beautiful room on 2 floors (sitting room/bathroom downstairs and bedroom upstairs). Great amenities. Only detracting factors are that the room was a bit dark (the hotel is in a narrow alley), and that the bathroom on a different floor than the bedroom is a bit inconvenient at night. The hotel is quite difficult to reach by car (Google maps will send you to an alley where it is impossible to turn or maneuver), so it is best to leave the car in the nearby Piazza...

'Had a warm welcome at arrival, with lots of useful information from passionate hosts. The rooms were large, clean and well equipped with big bathrooms and great inviting showers. Rooms had TVs with Amazon sticks so could log into streaming services in the evening, which was a nice touch, when it became too chilly to be out! Ortiga was beautiful, great food, lots to see and do. '
