'From the outside,looks like a great resort but that was it. Room as big as it was is nice . No seats inside room so every time you want to sit down you have to sit on the bed . Luggage no place to pack or un pack other than the bed. Their is a nice table with a kettle and to lovey cups but nothing to put in the cup(coffee or tea) also no wher to plug in or sit down. Lots of staff but no atmosphere that you get in other resorts. Breakfast included, go else where greasy and cold. Last day stomach...

'I spend 10 days in Marlin Beach resort and enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are bare but spacious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I arranged for the resort pick and drop off at Cebu airport and all went well and felt very comfortable as a single (female) traveler.'

'The location is great, right at the beach, the staff is nice, the food was good but the rooms are not comfortable at all. For a price of more than 3000 PHP you would not expect a 1 square meter (10 square feet) bathroom. You you have to take a shower in the toilet bowl or sink'

'I’m sure it once was a beautiful property, but the maintenance has gone. Also, some of the amenities weren’t even open yet. We actually left the resort to go somewhere else for our day.'

'Staff are excellent.
Filipino breakfast is delicious. Coffee was very good.
Across the hotel are some local food place with grilled barbecue.
The property is relatively new.
The room layout is good even though small.
The problem is that this property management is cost cutting to the bones. As a result, the hallway is very hot. They will give you one card to enter the room. Same card has to be inserted to activate the room’s electrical power. So when you leave, the room can’t stay air...
