'Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. 'I stayed at the Victoria Hotel for a race i had the next day. Simon was friendly and welcoming. I stayed in a twin room which was very clean and spacious and the bed was comfy. I was advised when i arrived that it was a local pub and the darts was on that evening. I stayed on the top floor and didn't hear a thing. The hotel doesnt have parking but there was plenty of on street parking available and i mamaged to park rught outside. I would stay here again'

'The room was quaint, bathroom lovely. A nice welcome tray with biscuits and drinks. 3 flights of narrow stairs so we were glad the owner helped us with our suitcase. Would have been difficult and it’s definitely not for the handicapped. Our biggest disappointment was that no breakfast was served, especially as there’s a nice breakfast room downstairs - thought there should have been for the price. 'Overall stay was nice. Only issue was the piece of wood art above the bed. Was full off cobwebs and spider's. Im chronic asthmatic and this wasnt ideal for me with the dust. I cleaned it myself . '

'What a beautiful cottage with plenty of amenities and incredible views. A very comfortable stay and plenty of space, with a secrete garden for dogs and lovely neighbours. Would have loved to have known about towels, the games, the kitchen equipment available before we arrived so that we did not over pack unnecessarily. '
