'It was cheap - you get what you pay for. Shared bathroom and kitchen, which was expected based on price and photos, but not clear in details and another guest hadn’t assumed this and caused a big scene on check in. Wasn’t dirty, but could have been cleaner. Beds were comfy, but sheets smelt damp. Air con didn’t work in our room or another room that was empty. Free parking. Walking distance of the town centre which has takeaways. Kinda average stage. But cheapest around'

'Comfortable room, a real bargain and the breakfast was wonderful. The owner was lovely, really friendly and helpful. I was staying in a single, which would probably be snug if staying for a while/have loads of stuff, but for a few nights I'd strongly recommend (or book a larger room). Location is excellent, castle at the top of the street! Shops and restaurants all on the doorstep!'
