'Hotel is netjes en de service is prima. De bell boy is erg behulpzaam. Het enige wat ik minder vond is dat het hele hotel ruikt naar eens sterke citroenachtige geur. Ze gerbuiken daarvoor een apparaat die de citroen smaak verspreid. Het is zo sterk dat je er soms misselijk van kan worden. Wat ik ook jammer vind, is dat het hotel geen afgesloten badkamer heeft. Nit erg handig en weinig haken om je kleren op te hangen. '

'Nice hotel. Convenient location. Front office staff manned by freshers and trainees. They seem overwhelmed and not adequately trained. Room service and cleaning personnel are efficient. Hotel is next to busy road and a wedding banquet hall in addition to construction site. Rooms need better sound proofing. Overall it’s ok. '

'This hotel is well located and the upgraded room I had was very comfortable, with an elegant Indian aesthetic. I would gave given a higher rating if there hadn't been a cigarette odor in my nonsmoking room. I called the front desk and was assured that the rooms around me were all non smoking so perhaps this is not enforced. The gym is ok but small and could be a bit better arranged. Breakfast was healthy and good'

'What I didn't like is dishonesty. I drank two beers 175 rupees each) from the mini bar. One on Wednesday and one on Thursday. During check out I mentioned it and asked to pay. The staff printed a statement that read 3 beers. I complained and they kept saying I drank 3 beers. My wife confirmed I only drank two. My Uber was waiting so I paid in cash 2 beers (beer service fee taxes = 225 rupees each). I felt uncomfortable with the fact that they wanted to charge me extra by adding one more...

'It was pretty funny to see how this hotel is actually a bit behind in style, but because they do an okay job in the upkeep it is kind of nice to walk back into the glamorous style of the sixties without it being out of date. Stay away from the shop though, this guy is pushing sales way too much. Rooms are clean and well equipped (for Indian standards).'

'The pool in this hotel is nothing like the pictures. It is so dirty you can not even see the bottom. It is littered with bird droppings. After having seen the pool, I am havig trouble eating at the hotel, do they take care of their kitchen the same way they take care of their pool? Apparently, the management of the hotel does not like the reviews being posted on various sites. The various signs at the restaurant 'If you think our staff is rude, please talk to the management' makes you think...

'De kamer was overduidelijk niet goed schoongemaakt. Er lag veel stof en vuil in meerdere hoeken van de kamer. Het beddengoed was gewassen, maar bevatte vlekken. Qua service was het onprofessioneel. Je vraagt om een taxi en men geeft aan dat deze er met 10 minuten is. 15 minuten wachten en vervolgens blijkt dat er überhaupt niet voor je is gebeld.'

'We only stayed one night in this property. The location is excellent - very close to The Gate of India meaning that you can walk to a number of different places eg colaba causeway. The property itself is quite hidden away and doesn't look that impressive from the outside, however inside it is very well set up. It is quite small so not on the scale of much larger hotels. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast in the morning was very good. Despite the central location it was not noisy...
