'Everything was really nice, only issues were the pool being far too cold so not relaxing, only seats and no loungers. Booked a table at reception and we even said we weren't sure so cancelled it soon after and said we would order room service. Then heard a member of staff moaning about my wife and I to another colleague saying we shouldn't be allowed to do that so that was pretty off-putting. For those reasons I probably wouldn't return.'

'Lovely fresh hotel & restaurant, staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and clean, only slight questionable was some staining on wall & bed base but otherwise the room was nice & clean & beds very comfy. Beds were very well made. 'Landelijke plek onder de rook van Glasgow. Een mooi gelegen hotel. Openbare ruimtes hebben een schitterend uitzicht. Onze kamer daarentegen, welke verder prima was, keek uit op de parkeergelegenheid. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid, met naast het gangbare, vers fruit, smoothies, zoet gebak en grapefruit juice. '

'A really good hotel that had great facilities. Two restaurants with excellent choices. Two indoor pools - one just for hotel guests (the other for guests in the lodges). Several comfy rooms for chilling. Lovely grounds for walks and close enough to walk to Brodick. Everywhere is decorated to a very high standard. The staff are a mix of local and world wide - all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The whole hotel is dog friendly. Highly recommend '

'Nice 2 day birthday break for my partner, hotel was spotlessly clean, rooms were well equipped, although a smart tv would have gave it 5 stars instead of 4, bed was exceptionally comfortable & massive, food was great but slightly overpriced we thought, the SPA suite wasn't the best but relaxing, SPA treatments were way overpriced for what was on offer, but we enjoyed our stay '

'Leuke Inn op en plek waar weinig verkeer kom, achter en voor kamers, toevallig een kamer achter waar de parkeer plekken, zeer rustig gehad, geen geschreeuw of iets anders. Personeel zeer vriendelijk, ontbijt en avond eten was voortreffelijk in mijn ogen. Bij een volgende rit naar Schotland zou ik zo hier nog een keer overnachten, dit i.v.m. plek, steden en andere activiteiten. '

'Het hotel is een officieel monument in een schilderachtige omgeving. De ontvangst was hartverwarmend, het gebouw en de kamer erg mooi. Het is de moeite het gebouw van binnen en buiten te verkennen, en een wandeling in de omgeving te maken. Diner in de avond, kost wat, maar je hebt ook wat. Het ontbijt was ook heel goed verzorgd. We zouden heel graag weer eens terug komen.'

'We spent 3 nights in the St Ninians flat upstairs. The view across the Clyde was fabulous, possibly better than the downstairs flats. The house is well placed for travelling around the island with bus stops nearby. It was kept very clean and the beds were very comfortable and the heating came on when we needed it.
