'The hotel was ideally located for visiting a relative in the nearby hospital. The ground floor room was large, with a large comfortable bed, kitchenette and bathroom. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge, hotplate and microwave. I enjoyed swimming pool and steam room and there was also a sauna and spa facilities. There was a garden and an outdoor seating area. As we were only staying over between hospital visits, we did not use the restaurant.'

'Friendly, welcoming and stylish. Made us feel at home, nothing was a problem to sort out. Superb breakfast and Mr Whippy desserts - what is not to like. Would stay there again.'

'Lovely hotel in a fab location. Biggest Plus room was beautifully finished. Restaurant food was very good.
The biggest asset of this hotel is its staff, super helpful and friendly.'

'Our overall stay was nice but our room was too hot with no heating controls. We opened the window to solve the problem but…. then were woken up early both mornings with deliveries on day 2 and the Sunday market being set up on day 3 - both from about 5.30am'
