Was great value for money at the price I got from Expedia, as was quoted considerably more elsewhere. Excellent table service/menu breakfast, but not great if you're in a hurry. But if on a weekend type break, enjoy! Limited charging and desk space if on a busy business break. But if there for tourism or personal visit then great...

'The Roseate is een erg mooi karakteristiek gebouw met een fraaie entree, bar en restaurant. Het personeel en de service was erg goed. Bedden waren ook prima. Minpunt was het feit, dat onze kamer (in het tegenover The Roseate aan de overkant van de straat gelegen gebouw) klein en erg gehorig was. Ieder geluid van (boven)buren was te horen en nachtrust verstorend. '

'Fantastisch personeel en goede locatie. Bij aankomst mooie kamer gekregen met binnentuin echter defecte airco. Hierdoor gedowngrade naar kamer met uitzicht op kantorencomplex boven een Australische luidruchtige restaurant/bar.Opklapbed met ingezakte matrassen en gevaarlijke zijranden. Pas na uitvoerig gesprek met manager kregen we een kamer waar we voor betaald hebben. Al met al : 5 Sterren niet waardig, meer 3 sterren allure.'

'The property was very spacious and clean with comfortable beds and good utilities (dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven, fridge, freezer). Most necessary items were provided although it would have been nice to have some surface cleaning spray and more washing up liquid and toilet paper. Very nice bathroom and shower, although it took a while for the water pressure to get high enough and the heating was quite fiddly to get to the right temperature. 'Very unique hotel. So cool living onboard a floating hotel for the night. The room décor is lovely, as is the rest of the boat, and the staff onboard could not be nicer or more helpful. The breakfast was amazing (smoked salmon starter and full Scottish breakfast) and any time we called for items to be brought to our room, the service was super fast. It is not the cheapest but all in all, an excellent hotel and well worth a visit for a special occasion or just a well earned treat.'

'The apartment was beautiful!! Clean, decorated lovely and functional. The bathrobes provided were an extra nice. The location was just perfect. We went to breakfast about a quarter of a mile away. Quiet, tucked away by the Holyrood house gardens, it was the perfect place to stay.'
