'We really loved staying here. Rolando and his family were super welcoming and at the same time gave privacy in the apartment. We did a lot of cooking in the kitchen and loved being a bit away from the town but still close enough where it was a 30 min. walk or 5 min. drive. 'We were so happy with our accommodations in Cotacachi..at first we thought it might be a bit noisy but we grew to love the location..we had everything we needed…we were so close to everything that we wanted to see and do..the manager of the apartments was so helpful, kind and considerate..overall an awesome holiday.'

'Views of the mountains were amazing from every room. Great penthouse rooftop terrace. Very nice and accommodating host. Leo our host was there to greet us on our arrival. He was very informative about the town and had a contact list of people who could help us out with any issues or needs. The only discrepancy was it is listed as 2 bed 2 bath. "One of the best stays during our 3 week trip in Ecuador. Maybe the best overall. Modern and luxeous lodge in a gorgeous, peaceful landscape with a beautiful view on the forested mountains. Clean rooms, very large comfortable bed (even large enough for me, I am almost 2 meters tall) and lots of big windows to peer outside. Delicious meals and an excellent, very hospitable host. Would recommend to everyone visiting Intag. For birders: the balcony and terrace provide a great view on the garden and forst edge. Species like Collared Aracari and Andean Guan are common. There were no hummingbird feeders, which I think is a very ecologically responsible choice, for many hummingbirds are naturally foraging on flowering plants in the garden. Our host Marcelo took us on a pleasant walk through the grounds of the lodge to a 50 meter high waterfall, and showed us different species of plants, wild fruits and birds on the way. Thanks again for this experience!"
