'The location was great with a view of the harbor and the lift bridge from the room. It was a short walk across the lift bridge to Canal Park and good food, museums, and shopping. We went to the Great Lakes Aquarium, the William A Irvin ore ship museum and walked along Lake Superior. The buffet breakfast was great and everything was clean. This was a wonderful place to stay.'

'Check in was a breeze, the hotel was very clean, the room was spacious and clean with gorgeous views, and the amenities were fantastic! The free s’mores were delicious and so fun, I loved the fires outside, and the hot tub being outside made for great views while you soak. Having a restaurant on site was so convenient and the food and service was great. If you want to branch out, it is a short 10 to 15 minute walk to plenty of options. 'Reminds me of some of the best hostels I stayed in while traveling in Europe. Super clean, very modern, and a great vibe. Joe was there when we checked in, and was super helpful in helping us get settled. Great retail store below, and a cool looking bar as well (window-shopped the store, didn’t hit the bar). It is a hostel, so be prepared for shared bathrooms, etc., but we expected that and it was all in all a great stay. Will totally stay there again!'

'The building is in a perfect spot if you want access to restaurants, shops, a casino and walking along the Lake. I was traveling alone as an older female and felt comfortable walking in the downtown area and down by the Lake. It's unfortunate that the hotel doesn't have their own parking lot.
