'We loved staying here. The location was perfect. A little bit away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Bellagio, but an easy 10 minute walk to get there. It is an easy walk to a nice café and bakery down the street, and nearby grocery and other services, restaurants are all very close. The house was well decorated and the owners were super friendly and nice. 'Stayed for 4 nights the last week of September. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Property is right by the water, well maintained, close to downtown, tons of dining options. Ferry and bus line less than a 10 minutes walk. Best by far, the view you get from the property is breathtaking. Clara and her family were very attentive. I would absolutely book again if returning to Como. Highly recommend. '

'Reception by and communication via Whatsapp with Raffaella was great. Superclean large apartment and the covered balcony with beautiful lakeview is top (even in the rain). Everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook yourself is there. Only minus: from the house to the carpark is a heavy climb of 200 meters. 'Erg mooi hotel van meer dan 100 jaar oud. Je ziet de grandeur van vroeger nog steeds. Zwembad en restaurant bij zwembad kan beter. Prijzen van drankjes aan het zwembad zijn erg duur en dit kan echt veel beter. Je ziet dan ook niet veel mensen iets bestellen behalve water. Een Aperol in een plastic glaasje voor 21 euro is niet oké. '

'We had a great stay at the appartement. The location is just perfect, with fabulous views from every window. Varenna is beautiful and we had a wonderful stay with our family. 'Wij hebben een prettig verblijf gehad! De kamer was zeer ruim, zeer schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Als je van klassiek Italiaans en rust houdt, zal deze accommodatie je zeker bevallen. Het zwembad was zeer fijn en het ontbijt was uitgebreid en goed. Personeel was vriendelijk. De omgeving vonden wij persoonlijk wat té rustig. 'The place was clearly not cleaned when we visited. There were big dust bunnies on the floor next to the bed, cobwebs and dead bugs in corners. The floor was dirty, not wiped and I don't know what else wasn't clean. The tea kettle had residue in it and there were spiders in the shower and other areas. The only reason this place isn't 1 star is because of the location and the views of lake Como.'

'Prachtige locatie met schitterend uitzicht op het comomeer vanaf het zwembad. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De bar vond ik een tikkeltje gierig voor Italiaanse begrippen: we hadden twee aperitiefjes besteld en daar krijg je normaal gesproken wat kleine hapjes of nootjes bij. Dat had ik wel verwacht bij een spritz van 8 euro in een 4 sterren hotel maar helaas. De staat en inrichting van het hotel is in mijn mening wel iets gedateerd. Het uitzicht vanaf het zwembad maakt dat wel goed. '
