'I booked this place knowing little other than it was close enough to Cardiff for us to stay after the Bruce Springsteen concert. It was very well appointed, with a well equipped kitchen / dining room, spacious wet room, large bedroom and lounge with a sofa bed. And a hot tub in the communal garden area!

'It was OK for a one night stay; the bed was squeeking every time we turned on it (did not sleep well because of it), there wasn't a curtain so the room was lit up from sun-up and it looked like there hadn't been vacuumed in a while. The breakfast was lovely though, and the folks running the place were friendly and accomodating. '

'Our stay was a delight from start to finish. We had planned to drop our case and head off to Cardiff before check-in but the room was ready 2 hours early so we were able to check in then! The room was gorgeous. Beautifully decorated and clean and spacious. The shower was lovely once we got to grips with the temperature control. The kitchenette was well-equipped and a lovely touch. The hot tub was fantastic with clear instructions. We were even able to use it in the rain due to the little roof...

The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). '
