Great stay.
Check in was easy. Host contacted us just beforehand to advise the parking area had some standing water from the heavy rains. This was not a problem, the parking area is very big and I really appreciated the heads up. Space was private with a rear entrance. Check in and out was super easy. All as expected and in really good condition with comfortable bed. There was shampoo and body wash provided (we are soap users and didn’t bring our own) but no big deal. Thanks for a great stay

Visiting for a wedding
Appreciated the clean sheets, comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Shower was spacious. Owner communicated before our arrival. The tv required your personal sign in. I haven’t seen that prior. We didn’t get to meet the dogs as the owner was out of town. The dogs did quite a bit of barking and probably missed the owner. The fans on the porch did a good job of keeping the mosquitoes away. The fans do need to be balanced, and made a bit of noise. We appreciated the private parking spot. The home was very conveniently located . I recommend!

Great Stay!
Lovely room and bath - parking was excellent, shower was awesome - and the price was fantastic. Daughter and I were in for a college visit, and this was absolutely perfect. The host was very responsive, and kind - just a great stay!

Definitely Returning
The property was perfect and way better than the hotels nearby. Perfect for our family! No complaints with the home and host. The VRBO app may need some updating. None of the links were opening for us so we weren’t able to see the check-in instructions, other than that, everything was great!

Quick Business
We were both in town for work and were really happy to have a comfy bed and clean bathroom and keurig all right there waiting for us !! Mike was super nice to offer an early checkin and truthfully I wish I could have just hung out and relaxed a little before we popped in and popped out ! Will definitely be back ! Mike was an excellent host! The space was so clean and nice! It was a nice little surprise that there were goats and llamas next door so we got to make new friends! Highly recommend and will definitely rebook if staying in Abilene again.

Home away from home
We came here for a basketball tournament and this property was close to facility. Quiet and peaceful. Beds were very comfy. Shower was awesome. Host was great. No complaints. Found a perfect place to stay at every time we come.

Wish we could have stayed longer!
This is such a great place to get away! We prefer to find something other than a hotel when we stay out of town, and this rental has everything that we needed for our stay. Plenty of towels, a large shower, and separate sinks made it easy to get ready for morning plans. We loved the view of the private pond and woke to llamas grazing on the banks. The home is only a few blocks from our kids university and we were there in no time. Highly recommend!

Excellent Place to Rest
The property is gorgeous and there are a couple of friendly dogs that love people. The place is clean with three beds, a microwave, and a mini-fridge. Mike was very accomodating and let us use the grill out back as well. We would stay here again. :)

The property is just as it's listed in fact it's more beautiful and spacious than it appears.
I was in the area as a travel nurse at the local hospital, this property was within 3 miles of the hospital. I enjoyed my stay. Mike and his wife were wonderful hosts and there are a couple of sweet dogs for you to you fall in love with during your stay. The suite is bright, clean and spacious. The bathroom is gorgeous. The property is located close to Interstate 20.

Pleasantly surprised
We were in Abilene for our nephew’s graduation and decided to give this rental a try. The room was spacious and comfortable and the area was quiet and peaceful. It was close to shopping and restaurants, but off the beaten path. We loved the artwork and decor of the room, and would highly recommend staying here!

A Gem in Abilene
Loved our stay. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and obviously have taken great care in creating a charming and comfortable environment.
