'We had a wonderful stay at the Lakes. It’s such a beautiful setting with so many activities on offer including a spa. We ate in the restaurant and it really is an experience- the food and service were outstanding. Bedrooms are beautiful - decor and furnishings. Guest services were very helpful both prior to arrival and on the day. We we definitely be back! '

'Brilliant, I did leave a review on Google maps also. But I really enjoyed this stay. Me (m19) and my partner (F18) decided to go on a whim and book somewhere nice on Saturday night. It was a nice idea as we got out of her parents house. We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment was clean with a nice bathroom, kitchen, living area and bedroom. We cooked ourselves a meal and had a nice bath before heading out. It's literally on the doorstep of town so everything you need is within walking...

'The bed was insane! I can’t remember the last time I slept for 8 hours straight for 2 nights on the bounce, not just me the hubby said the same, very comfortable 2 days stay. Ricky was amazing even before check in, contacted us the morning of arrival and allowed us to park our car up a couple of hours George we even checked in, very kind ☺️ we can’t fault the place it was very convenient for us visiting my poorly mam who lives 5 minutes away. Thanks guys we will be booking again for September...

'We had a very pleasant stay, highly recommend, great location, spotlessly clean, loved the special little touches, tea, coffee, biscuits, cereal and even milk and cold water in the fridge. 'Host was difficult to reach. We never received check in information. We had to call the property owner twice and Travel Nest three times over several hours to get the information. Listing also says the house house has a washer and dryer, but there is no dryer. '

'We were only here one night, but I loved staying in this flat! It was a real insight into how people live their everyday lives in a city the size of Oxford. Manu was excellent about communicating with us and made sure we would have no trouble finding the flat or getting into it. I wish we could have stayed here longer, and I would definitely reach out to him again if I ever travel back this way!'

'The house lies behind other houses but is, I think, only a few years old. The atmosphere of the hous is very nice and in the kitchen there is enough of everything (i.e. 12 knifes in stead of 4 because it is a 4 person house).. The shower is fabulous.. The supermarket is only a 2 minute walk away.'

"Leuk hotel, ook omdat inspecteur Morse hier vaak in de Morse-bar kwam😬 Hier zit je echt leuk. Mooie maar warme kamer. Openen op een kier van het raam (binnenplaats) kwam met een straalmotor-achtig geluid vanuit een of ander apparaat. Toch goed geslapen met hulp van de vloerventilator. De locatie in de stad is perfect, centraal en tegenover een prachtig museum."
